Today is September 11th. The video above is from a 1991 Famicom (NES) game called TetraStar: The Fighter wherein two towers that resemble the WTC collapse. (Disregard the weirdo conspiracy stuff in the video description.) The World Trade Center was also the target of video game badguys in Urban Strike (1994) for the Sega Genesis:

It’s been over a decade since 9/11. Human history is, among other things, a series of unimaginable tragedies. Perhaps someday that will change, but for now, we’re the same people we’ve been since our we began our journey across the planet. Be good to yourself, and to others.

Man, this brings me back… haven’t thought about this song since it was on heavy rotation on Live 105’s Soundcheck, when I was a pimpled, pubeless teen. I traded the former for the latter — solid trade.
